Paradigm Development Center (PDC) is an affordable, academic micro-school. PDC specializes in providing education services to students who may not perform well in traditional education settings due to learning disabilities. Our mission is to prepare each of our students for life after they graduate high school.
PDC provides one-on-one & group academic instruction to late elementary, middle, and high school students. PDC is specifically set up to provide individualized attention to students who express the following: School refusal, a need to feel accepted, or a need for a slower-paced school setting.

Academics at PDC includes curricula for late elementary, middle, and high school students. All students are given an informal educational survey to determine memory ability, grade placement, gaps in subject knowledge, cognitive abilities, vocation & independent living skills, gross & fine motor skills, and social-emotional needs.

The Fitness & Well-Being program includes Calm & Concentration includes breathing exercises, stretching, social-emotional, and mindfulness activities. Fitness includes gymnastics and weekly hikes. Survival Skills focuses on emergency skills, everyday skills, first aid, and indoor & outdoor survival. |
The PDC Vocation & Independent Life (VIL) program prepares students for college-life, the workforce, and independent life. This program engages students in the areas of everyday survival skills, independent living skills, job readiness, direct interactions & experiences in and around our community, volunteer opportunities, civic engagement, job coaching & shadowing, and weekly field trips. |

The in-person or virtual tours are typically 30 to 45 minutes. During the tour, your guide will answer all of your questions about the school, the campus, teachers, curricula, and the day-to-day school schedule. Your guide will also answer any other questions you have. We look forward to meeting you and scheduling a tour time that is convenient for you.
